Version 3 of the DS 'Basic' controller does away with the wire wound resistor in favor of a 20 band printed circuit board.

Controller has no connectors fitted, but we offer a choice of either  132 Copper - Alligator Clips & Insulator Boots (set of 3) 

or   DS-0010 Compact 3 banana connector
