Scaleracing 12 hours of Tacoma featuring Scaleauto 1:24 scale GT2/3 cars on Saturday July 28th 2018.
This race will allow both the latest GT3 chassis and the earlier Scaleauto chassis to be run.
Early chassis cars can run light weight body parts. Minimum body weight is 58 grams. Minimum total weight is 200 grams.
The new GT3 chassis cars can not run light weight parts. Minimum total car weight is 195 grams.
Absolute minimum ground clearance at all times will be 1 mm to protect the tracks.
Start clearance is 1.5mm front and 1.8mm clearance rear.
All cars will run the same gear ratio.
This race will be run with hand out SC-0012 motors. No break in will be allowed, no modification of the motors is allowed, anyone tampering with motors or using any devise to break in the motor will be disqualified. The only premissible break in will be the track testing allowed after all Teams get their hand out motors. There will be a short test of 10 minutes after all cars have been fitted with motors in technical impound.
Tires will be SC-2421.
Tires must be clearly identifiable as that tire prior to starting the race. All cars will run by the Scaleracing Scaleauto Rules.
Entry for the 12 Hour Event Saturday includes racing Friday night and Sunday.
We will race a Klasse 1 Formula 1 race as a support Event on Friday night
Plus a BRM 1:24 scale Trans Am sprint race.
Any protested on the set up of any car must be filed with the Race Director before the race starts. There is no fee for this. All teams will supply a Team Manager into tech to inspect any car they feel is outside of the spirit of "STOCK Rules" This race is for stock cars, we will clarify if any car can run a lightweight interior.
The Rear Wing must be fitted to the car in the correct position at all times. No car can start the race with tape on the top surface of the wing holding the wing on. The acceptable way to strengthen wings is shoe goo and or the Carbon/Rubber wings these are allowed on all cars in standard sizes and fitment only, no shortened wings are allowed.
Anyone wishing to protest after inspection has closed will pay a fee of $50.00 this will be returned if the complaint is upheald but not be refunded if the complaint is rejected. |
